This recipe is my tasty vegan version of “meatballs”.
Meatless “Meatballs” in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 -4 cups mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp oil
- parsley
- salt and pepper up to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and chop finely
- Chop the onion, then sauté in a little oil with the mushrooms
- When the mushrooms have cooled, add flour, baking powder and season with finely chopped parsley leaves, pepper and salt
- Mix and well combine, shape the meatballs and fry in well-heated oil
- Add one caned tomato and cook for a few minutes
